There’s a group of guys here at the ranch that get together for regular games 3 or 4 times a week. Monday, it’s skins. Wednesday, it’s some sort of team game. Saturday, it’s 2 best balls and skins. On Tuesdays, we sometimes travel to nearby courses for go at low net.
Relationships in a foursome require just a much effort as do some marriages. You need to know when to talk and when to keep your mouth shut. You also need to be dedicated to the relationship so the others can rely on you when necessary.
Disclosure – I’ve not done that in the past week or so. Late last week I came down with a cold from hell and have felt miserable. I’m on the mend but not ready to get back into the swing of things (my blog, puns are ok). So, I’ve just not showed up for our regular matches.
I’ll give them a call or send a short email asking for them to forgive me for not behaving as a good standing member of a foursome should. I just hope I don't get banished from the 'island'.
