Looks like the TSA is going nation wide with it's registered traveler program. No time table was specified. I guess the pilot was pretty successful. CNN.com reports that 10,000 travelers paid $80 each for the priviledge to buck the lines at security check points.
The average wait was 4 seconds - the average wait in the regular screening lines was 4 minutes 16 seconds. The average maximum wait time was 4 minutes, way below that of the maximum for the regular screening line - 31 minutes 48 seconds.
