Buckling under pressure (go figure) ABC Television cancelled plans for a show called Welcome to the Neighborhood. The show was about 3 white, Christian, Republican families getting to award a 3,300 sq ft, 4 bedrooms, 2 ½ bath home to the winner – one of seven contestant families that included one black, one Asian, one Hispanic, and one gay couple.
I guess ABC was in something of a panic for a Desperate Housewives summer replacement or maybe it was just the heat.
