Holidays are great – a bit more time off and a lot more time to think about things, like satellite radio.
I don’t spend all that much time in the car; my commutes only 20 minutes each way, 40 minutes round trip, then, maybe another hour and a half on the weekends. That works out to about five hours a week. Allowing for reduced driving time for holidays and vacation, I figure I spend about 250 hours a year in my car.
Depending on who you choose, Sirius or XM Satellite Radio, monthly subscriptions run anywhere from just under $10 to almost $14. So....
I think I’ll stick with regular FM radio – we’ve a new station here in the Metroplex, it’s called Jack FM and it rocks.
Seeing as how I’ve saved all that cash by not going to satellite radio, I think it’s time to start looking at HDTVs. Aren’t holidays great?
